Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

If you miss pumpkin pie, and are doing the green smoothie thing, then try this recipe. You’ll be licking the blades on your blender! And the cool part is that canned pumpkin scores a respectable 372 on Dr. Fuhrman’s ANDI foods list.


3 large leaves romaine lettuce

(1) 15 oz can pumpkinpumpkin_smoothie

1 tsp vanilla

¼ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

Dash of allspice

Dash of allspice

Dash of ground cloves

Dash of stevia or your favorite sweetener

1 or 2 tbsp flax seeds

1 cup VANILLA coconut beverage ( or use almond milk, milk, water, etc.)

3 tbs almond butter, or a handful of nuts (optional if you are nut-free)

Blend and enjoy! If you need some healthy fat, toss in an avocado or two.
